Chapman Legacy Society

The Chapman Legacy Society is a donor designation at The University of Tulsa, created to recognize supporters who establish a permanent legacy at TU through an endowment or planned gift. A planned gift may include a will/trust bequest, real estate, retirement accounts, insurance, cash, or other assets and can be made in support of virtually any TU program - from academic units to student scholarships to building and facilities. Such gifts create a legacy at TU for years to come, continuing donors' valuable support beyond their lifetime and providing inspiration to others to do the same. All members of the Chapman Legacy Society are honored with their names engraved in stone at Albert Plaza at McFarlin Library in the heart of campus. If you prefer not to be recognized as a member, we request that you notify us of your future gift intentions as this gives you the opportunity to have your exact wishes noted in our records.

For more information on joining the Chapman Legacy Society, please contact Kayla Hale, Vice President of University Advancement and Alumni Engagement, at 918-631-2561 or [email protected].

Since 1949, the Leta and J.A. Chapman Trusts have transformed The University of Tulsa through a thoughtful planned gift. Their generous foresight has provided support in the broadest scope possible from visionary program endowments to operational funding which has helped shape the university's core strategies. This is the legacy — and power — of a planned gift.
